Feed bag, Aguacatán crochet

$40.00

Crocheted by the Awateko Maya of Aguacatán, these are called Feed Bags because they are used for sewing corn. Single unlined compartment 16" tall x 13" wide is open with no zipper and uses the typical Mayan adjustable strap. Traditional Black and White done with Geometric or a variety of Animal patterns; choose from Large Cat, Small Cats, Large Deer, Large Fish, Small Fishes, Large Horse, Small Horses; there is also one with a Mayan kneeling and presenting a staff to a lion.
